Beeswax: Natural & Synthetic
A range of natural and synthetic beeswaxes, suitable for a range of applications due to their unique chemistry.
Enviro-Coatings®
Water-based repulpable and recyclable line of products, designed to enhance barrier properties, modify slip and abrasion resistance of paper and paperboard packaging.
MICROSERE® Microcrystalline Waxes
MICROSERE® microcrystalline waxes are tougher, more flexible and tend to have higher melting points than paraffin waxes. The fine crystal structure of MICROSERE® microcrystalline waxes means the wax can bind to solvents and oils preventing sweating-out.
OXIRED® Natural Iron Oxide
OXIRED® iron oxides are 100% natural. After being mined, the mineral is dried in the sun, milled, graded and packaged. There are no chemical processes or additives used during production, providing safety & environmental benefits compared to synthetic iron oxide production.
Packaging and Corrugated Wax Blends
We offer IGI Wax’s Wax Blends for flexible packaging, corrugated packaging and folding cartons. Paraffin waxes and paraffin-based wax blends are natural, mineral waxes from petroleum that are colourless, non-reactive, non-toxic, biodegradable and compostable products.
Paraffin Wax
We offer IGI Wax’s fully refined paraffin waxes with low, medium and high melting point options. Paraffin waxes are natural, mineral waxes from petroleum that are non-reactive, non-toxic, inherently biodegradable (OECD guidelines) and compostable products.
Petrolatum Wax
Petrolatum waxes are natural, mineral waxes from petroleum that are microcrystalline in nature and a semi-solid at room temperature. The waxes themselves are non-reactive, non-toxic, biodegradable and compostable products with many applications where barriers are required to liquids and gases e.g. lotions, candles and rust preventatives.
Teflon™ and Zonyl™ Dispersions
Chemours™ Teflon™ dispersions provide products with chemical inertness, temperature stability, excellent dielectric properties, weather resistance and non-stick characteristics and can be processed using conventional dip or flow techniques to either coat or impregnate high temperature fabrics or fibres. Teflon™ dispersions can be built up gradually during processing to produce a smooth, crack-free coating. Primarily PTFE dispersions, however PFA, FEP and micropowder grades are also available.
Vegetable Waxes
A range of natural vegetable waxes
VipyDone™
A range of functional materials suitable for use in a wide variety of homecare, I&I applications
